Personal training is a great option no matter what your level of gym experience or how far you are on your fitness journey. But what exactly is personal training, and why should you have it? Let me explain.
Personal training is basically having an expert to help you achieve your fitness goals. My role involves putting you through challenging one-to-one training sessions and creating a safe and effective fitness programme for you to follow. You can expect support all the way and guidance and education on all aspects of training and nutrition.
- You’re new to training and don’t know where to start
- You’re not seeing any results, or progress has stopped
- Your workouts are becoming boring and you need a new challenge
- You struggle with certain exercises and wish to improve your technique
- You require accountability and need motivation during your sessions
This depends entirely on your needs and your budget. For those just starting out, 1-3 sessions a week can be beneficial so as to ensure you are doing everything correctly and safely. For those with more experience, fortnightly or even monthly check-ins can be all that is needed. Whatever you feel works for you.
My training sessions last for 60 minutes as I feel this is a perfect amount of time to complete a full workout. However I can also provide 30 minute sessions upon request.
Absolutely. Nutrition plays a key part in your health and fitness and I’ll provide advice and guidance on how you can create a healthy diet and lifestyle to compliment your training.
Yes. Training with a friend (or friends) is a great way to stay on the right path as you can keep each other accountable and motivated on every step. Therefore if you wish to train as a pair or group then that’s great! The cost also comes down if you train together so it can be a cheaper option – get in touch for prices.
